To get the most current news about what's happening in the Rec Site, sign up for our e-newsletters on the left column. The most recent e-newsletters are then posted on the Friends of the Rossland Range Society: News page, along with minutes of FORR board meeting minutes and key historical information. The objective is to maintain and encourage very open communications among everyone without flooding anyone's inbox, you can get an idea of distribution frequency by looking at the list of recent e-newsletters.

Rather than duplicate any of these items here, the Friends of the Rossland Range Society: News page includes e-newsletters, minutes, key news, events information and photographs, newspaper articles, and important documents affecting the Rossland Range over the years. Items date back to when the lookout and the weather station were built on Old Glory in 1926 and 1942. Minutes of Board meetings that date back to the first FORR Society AGM in 2004 can be viewed from this News page.

What we've all done and accomplished together over the years is quite apparent when browsing this historical chronological news page, it is the history of the Rossland Range Recreation Site by date, so we encourage you to have a look and feel very proud to be an important part of it.

NOTE: it’s a “Site” because that’s what the relevant legislation calls it, but it includes lots of area.
